@fairytalesanddragons as well, indoor/outdoor cats have half the lifespan of indoor cats, require more expensive medical care (FELV/FIV tests yearly, FELV vaccine) and are likely to be killed suddenly. It is not hard to keep your cats entertained indoors.

I met a couple who found a kitten in a rainstorm and took it in, bc ofc it’s freezing. they searched for the owner and no response. We got the pet at my mobile clinic… and it had a chip. If it hadnt been chipped that kitten would’ve been legally theirs now, as they made an effort to search for the owner.
