2k14 was the year of doing new things . It was the year of breaking up with boyfriends , getting girlfriends , breaking up with girlfriends who already had boyfriends , stepping out of my comfort zone , owning who I am , loving my body , keepin’ that melanin shinin and those locs luscious, spending time with important people , love , hate , selfies ( lol ), headwraps , arguments , opinions , grades , money ( or lack thereof ) *sigh , it was a great year but I’m definitely ready for a new one . 2k14 you’ve been great to me despite everything I’m still ending this year with a smile ✨
